Tanzania Land rover Club and Team Cruiser Convoy

At The first day the journey kicked off with great energy as members of the Tanzania Land Rover Club gathered for an official parade and convoy assembly at the ASAS offices, the main sponsor of the event. The session was dedicated to briefing participants on the road trip logistics, safety protocols, and planned stopovers along the route to Lake Nyasa for Mpalano Festival, At the same time, vehicles underwent branding and final preparations

The safari began with Cruisers on one side and Land Rovers on the other forming a convoy that captured the attention of many spectators in every area they passed through.

The Mpalano Festival 2025 featured a variety of activities, including a remarkable collaboration between traditional friendly rivals in the motor vehicle sector namely, the Tanzania Land Rover Club and Team Cruiser. These two groups, with a large following in Tanzania, came together from various regions across the country and journeyed all the way to Lake Nyasa for the festival.

During this tour, the convoy passed through several tourist destinations with the aim of promoting and raising awareness of the rich tourism attractions found in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. These included the Mpanga Kipengere Game Reserve, the Kitulo National Park, and the stunning beaches of Lake Nyasa.

This unforgettable safari has left a profound and lasting impact not only on the passionate drivers who journeyed from across the country, but also on our region and the nation at large. It was more than just a convoy; it was a powerful symbol of unity, adventure, and the spirit of Tanzania on the move
